WWII / Korean War Parachute Canopy Camouflage Cut 13x15ft 2nd Pattern HBT Scarf

Approximately : 12 feet x 15 feet. A rare early cut'canopy' or parachute material from a genuine tan stitched period 2nd pattern issued parachute. It measures about 12 by 15 feet. It is almost a rectangular piece and doesn't have any cords or pull straps. The material is still bright and mostly complete with all factory stitching.

It is the second pattern with the green replacement of the early brown portions. It is the genuine Korean War material that is not the later non-ripstop material. These were famous amongst airborne units for scarfs and utility applications. Some of the stitching has come loose in sections and also there is multiple holes and rips from over 60 years of storage and use. Not intended for anything else then collectible purposes and no warranted for anything but material applications. This came out of a collection in California. Was in the same hands for well over 30 years and used as a table cover at Militaria shows in the US.
