WWII Japanese Canteen Used During Korean War / Found There by G. The Japanese canteen is a WWII era canteen that appears to have been used during the Korean War or was found there by a G. The canteen has some light wear, scuffing and blemishing throughout.

One side of the canteen has been painted "KOREA 51" with some decorative flowers below. The bottom of the canteen is maker marked. The canteen stopper has some wear and damage. It is delicate and we have not tried to remove in order to maintain the integrity and condition. The stopper has a thin sting attached to the canteen holder.

The canteen holder has some wear, fading and blemishing throughout. There are some areas of darker blemishing near the metal components of the holder. 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 2 3/4; strap on holder measures approx.
