Made in August of 1953, this would have been made shortly after the end of the Korean War. Not sure if it's a bare-bones ejection seat or what its intended purpose was. There's a tag on the bottom with a customer name of BAC SPEC Boeing Aircraft Company? Marked with part number 75092 and serial number 77. There's a sticker on the front of the seat that looks like a winged logo, but it is not legible.
There is wear all around, scuffs and scratches. As noted above, this is a bare bones piece, so please see photos! MEASUREMENTS: Seat measures approximately 18 3/8" wide, 21" deep and 30 3/4 tall from bottom back of seat to top back of seat. The pole for mounting on the bottom is 6 1/2" long and has a diameter of 3".
