11x7 Original USNR Photo Album belonging to the estate of a retired Naval Aviator serving during the Korean War. Enclosed are 229 photos (most are black and white) of various scenes surrounding the enlistment and training of a naval reserve flight school at Ft. There are a few photos of home and family life but most are centered around base training, barracks life, etc. All but one or two photographs are firmly glued to the black paper within the photo album. You can see the age and wear of both the pages and the photos as well as the hard board covers.
I could only find two dates 1951 & 1952. There are many notations and names within and upon the photographs. This is immensely helpful for putting together historical accounts of happenings in and around the Korean War. Please view all photos and keep in mind I was only able to upload 24 photos in an album of 224 pictures.
The video shows some but not all of the pages as we are limited to a one minute clip. Please ask questions if you have them.
