VINTAGE US ARMY KOREA KOREAN WAR NAMED DOG TAGS HARRY W KRUSE. Named Wound Medal and rest of the collection listed separately on Gun- Broker by typing in Harry Kruse in the Search area. On one of the Medals, it shows 3 Battle Stars. But, this Collector informed me that the serial number on these dog tags makes it ARMY. Take a close look at the serial number, beginning with RA on his army dogtags. Then look at his USMC serial number on the bottom left of his ID card. (Two different serial numbers---the serial number on the dogtags are not on that USMCR ID card). He was a Marine from late 40's until very early 50's (check ID card for exact dates), then he left the Marine Corps and enlisted in the Army where he served in the Korean War. The dogtags are Army issued. Glad to help you out on this mystery. Condition: Any defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as "described".
