Vintage Korean War Youth Reversible Silk Embroidered Jacket

It is silk and is reversible. My husband was about 8-9 when he wore it so you can imagine the size it is. There is no tags or anything to let you know anything about this jacket. It has been hand embroidered with the big Tiger on the back of the black and yellow side, and has the name Korea embroidered at the top of the tiger. The front of the jacket has beautiful embroidered birds located at the top front of the jacket also.

Bright Yellow sleeves with a black stripe going down the sleeve. Pockets are also trimmed in the yellow. The top and bottom of this jacket has a red and white cuff. The other side of the jacket is blue and it has the map that shows the 38Parallell dividing north and south Korea. The big cat is embroidered at the bottom of the map and there's some kind of a dragon?

The cuffs of this side of the jacket have 2 small holes. The bottom cuff of the jacket has about 5 small holes.

The top neck cuff has about 3 small holes in it. (maybe it was a moth). The sleeves are a cream color and there's a blue stripe edged with yellow going down the sleeve. I don't see any holes in the cuffs of the yellow side. The jacket itself is beautiful, but it will need a new reversible zipper.

Both sides of the zipper are in tact but the slider is missing. I don't know if it can be fixes or needs to be replaced. My husband said he wore this about 1952-53. His brother fought in the Korean war and he brought this jacket home for him.
