Vintage Korean War USAF N-2A MilJ6278 Snorkel Jacket Blue Lrg Heavy Flying Nice

This military-issue type jacket was designed and approved by the U. Air Force and made in the United States of America! This listing is for a really nice Korean War original! A Fully functional Usaf Jacket Flying Heavy Attached Hood Type N2A Size Men's large, military specification Mil J 6278 jacket. This was the original series issued with oxygen mask holder, snap clips at the side for flight equipment at the cockpit. Features three exterior pockets, and a gorgeous crisp stencil above the pen pockets on the sleeve. Handy interior pockets and zip up hood with fancy fur trim and mutton lining to keep warm. Intact knits show wear and are in ready to wear shape. From a Non smoking environment.

This is a rare vintage item that is 70 or so years old. Manufactured by CH Masland & Sons, the US Gvt. Contractor at the time for official use and marked US Property! All of the 100% original zippers, snaps, knits, cords, tags, and decals are present and accounted for! Bottom button is missing, just move the top one down!

If you could somehow manage to go back in time to the Korean War Era, attend and graduate from the USAF Academy had "unlimited Air", which meant that if you were Physically Qualified and Aeronautically Adaptable (PQ/AA) you could go to flight school or graduate from another university with a degree, or Patriotically volunteer for The USAF, attend ground school, then flight school, and then only after being accepted, graduate from basic flight training, pass advanced jet trainers, graduate from combat flight training, and finally be commissioned..... You would get one similar to this one, and only if you actually needed to have it. Crew were also issued these when necessary! Get it here instantly with much less effort.
