Vintage Korean War USAF Fighter Pilots 1950 Zippo Patent 2032695 with Box & Papers

THIS IS A FANTASTIC AND HISTORIC ZIPPO LIGHTER! This is a 100% original 1950-51 Zippo from the effects of a long time USAF combat fighter pilot that served in Korea and acquired this lighter and NEVER USED IT!

The lighter is new in the original black stripe box and is unfired and complete with paperwork in the box. The box has the man's name on it, as these were likely Squadron Gifts for each pilot in the 36th Fighter Bomber Sqd. This unit was part of the 8th Fighter bomber Wing flying the first USAF Sqd to fly combat jets, the F-80c and later the famous F-86. This pilot was shot down in air to air combat and survived and was rescued to complete a long career in combat fighter units, flying with the famous 557th TFS in Vietnam.
