Vtg Korean War Navy Deck Jacket 46 USN Alpaca Lined Distressed NICE. This is a very cool authentic, Korean War era vintage US Navy deck jacket. Overall, this jacket is in excellent vintage condition.

It shows wear and there's some staining, especially along the left sleeve, but the shell is solid and the original Talon zipper is in excellent working condition. The original alpaca lining is in excellent condition, especially considering its age. The only real area of excessive wear is along the outside edge of the collar(see pic). There is a patch sewn on at the base along the backside and there are a few small holes in the shell next to this. There is no label left on this jacket, so my sizing is based on a guess, but I believe this was originally marked a size 48.

I'm listing it as a 46 because I wear a 44 and this jacket actually fits me well through the chest(it's too big through body and the waist). These jackets were originally designed to be somewhat binding and warn close to the body for maximum warmth. I'm afraid a person who wears a size 48 might find it too binding.
