Vintage Korean War Field Jacket M-1951 Supply Dept. US Marine Corps Small #1179

This is a vintage USGI OD Green Coat. The only markings on this coat are the size Long Small and Supply Department U S Marine Corps, under that it has a date but it is so faint it is hard to read but looks like maybe 1950? To the best of my knowledge and research this. Is a M-1951 Coat made for the USMC.
