Vintage FIGHTER PILOT HELMET Korean War MILITARY Vietnam NAMED Air Force NAVY us

I think what we have here is a USA Fighter Pilot Helmet. My best guess to it's age is Korean War up to Vietnam. The inside has what looks like the last name of the pilot written in ink in several area (see last 3 pics). Some of them were navy related so perhaps this was from a navy fighter pilot or Air Force?
