Usn G-1 Spec 55j14 Korean War Ear Flight Jacket Very Nice Cond Sz 44

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A US G-1 FLIGHT JACKET MADE BY FLYING EQUIPMENT COMPANY FROM THE 1950's. Navy G-1 Jacket made by Flying Equipment Company from the 1950's onwards, size 44. The item is in very nice condition! Probably never issued, just natural storage wear and tear.

This is a military grade G-1's made for naval aviators and their flight crews such radar intercept officers, co-pilots, navigators, etc. This is truly a remarkable piece of history. The Goatskin leather is supple with an amazing smell and the only minor issue is the leather is seventy plus years old and may show signs of drying.

The genuine mouton collar is intact with a deep reddish brown tone with only one small worn spot near the top of the zipper (see the photos). Original period talon zipper oerates flawlessly and is original to the jacket.

All stitching is strong with what appears to be new old stock waistbands and cuffs. THE BEST PART IS both the MOUTON COLLAR and LEATHER are in great condition!

The jackets measurements are as such. Shoulder to shoulder (across the back): 19. Shoulder to cuffs: 25 1/2. Top of zipper to bottom of waistband: 23.

Back collar to bottom of waistband: 27.
