US Post WW2 Korean War Era Navy APH-5 Gold Flight Helmet With Wings

For sale here is a good looking US Post WW2 Navy APH-5 Flight Helmet. The helmet is in as found condition and shows some age and wear. The helmet is made by MSA and is marked APH-5 on the maker's label on the back. I believe this is dated 1950. The helmet has been painted gold and features blue wings and NAVY to the front.

There is a good amount of paint loss to the helmet but the wings look great. The inside of the helmet is in okay condition but the ear pieces are pretty well dried out and ruined. The helmet won't be suitable for wear, but will display very well. Some cleaning will help as well as i have only wiped away the dust. This is a great display helmet.
