US Navy Patch Set from Korean War-(VF-91&Task Force 77) -G-1/A-2 flight jacket

You are admiring a rare US Navy VF-91 patch set from 1951. The set , of course, includes a first edition VF-91 squadron patch and a VF-91 77 Task force patch (CVA-47) Philippine Sea. Both patches came from a F9F-2 Panther jet pilot that served aboard the USS Philippine Sea during 1951/52.

The patches are in very good overall condition. There is some wear along the edges which is to be expected. However, the colours are still strong and vibrant. A very welcomed addition for the discerning collector!

VF-91:5"X 5 1/2". & 7 at its widest point. Task force 77:4 1/2"X 5".
