US Army M1C Korean war era 187th ARCT 11th Airborne Helmet (Re-Creation)

This helmet is my re-creation of a Korean War era paratrooper helmet with unit markings from the second battalion 187th ARCT 11th airborne. This helmet has been re-corked, repainted , weathered and aged to create a combat worn appearance. Helmet features: Swivel bale McCord rear seam shell with reproduction shell straps and Westinghouse liner. The "A" yokes and suspension were replaced using pieces removed from donor liners. Reproduction: Shell straps, leather liner strap (constructed with original army hardware).
