US Army Korean War era M1c M1 Airborne Helmet 11th Airborne (Replica)

This helmet was built as a display piece using mostly original parts and a few aged reproductions. Tac marking are from the 188th PIR 11th Airborne.

Helmet features: Swivel bale McCord rear seam shell that has been re-corked, re-painted, and artificially weathered and aged. The liner retains it's original od7 Korean war era webbing and has been converted to airborne configuration with "A" yokes (removed from a donor liner) and pull the dot fasteners. Reproduction: Shell straps, leather liner strap (constructed with original army hardware) and sweatband. Great for home, office, surplus store, or museum!
