STUNNING USMC Korean War VMF-513(N) SQUADRON PATCH F-3D Fighter Pilot NO RESERVE

This is a beautiful AND VERY SCARCE Korean War USMC theater made Sqd Patch for VMF 513(N) which was the first night fighter unit to shoot down a jet in combat with the Skyknight. (see wiki on the F3D skyknight).

This patch is beautifully hand done and may well be Japanese patch makers artwork, with fine bullion work to the emblem. The patch appears to have been sewn on and shows normal wear only. I also have the Korean war theater made VMC-1 Jacket patch that came with together with this emblem listed in my other auctions. See the pics, they tell the story.
