Rare Korean War Ethiopian Kagnew Wolseley M45 Pith Sun Helmet

Original national enamel cockade on the right side and the Imperial guard badge in front. The helmet was never used in battle but worn while transported or dress occasions. Size is small but can be adjusted. The Ethiopians were one of 16 countries that fought for NATO.

The Kagnew Battalion fought alongside the US 7th Infantry Division at the battle of Pork Chop Hill showing exceptional bravery and earning a Presidential citation. No Ethiopians surrendered and they always removed their dead. The helmet's features include a brim to protect from the sun, a leather chinstrap to keep it secure, and a distinctive emblem of the Kagnew Battalion. The helmet was manufactured in Ethiopia, adding to its historical significance.
