Randall Knife Model 1 8 Korean War with FULL CHAIN OF CUSTODY. This is a model 1 8 in EXCELLENT CONDITION. A beautiful natural patina, 1950s style hilt and deep choil. The blade is full and I do not see evidence of re-sharpening.
The Randall stamp logo is full indicating the blade has not been cleaned or messed with. The 7 spacers and stag are in perfect condition. The sheath is a 1950s Heiser Corn Row. Stone is original to the pouch, and just nice honest wear but still excellent. Provenance: This knife belonged to Wade Stanley who served in the Korean War and this knife was at his side throughout.
Stanley in the Randall Knife Society Newsletter in May, 2008, Issue #78. Stanley gave Rhett Stidham a copy of his Army Discharge Papers along with a letter dated February 23, 2008 documenting his service and history with this knife.
Dorsky is now Randalls official authorized Authenticator, and this knife has that COA. Apparently Joe Dorsky had it in his collection until May of 2018 which is when I bought it from him. I do everything to make this a good experience.
