Quality Genuine vintage Korean war era M1951 Fishtail parka, liner & hood, M51
Annual clearout mainly husbands old clothes, military/camo collection plus bits and bobs etc. This Parka was one of the best examples he came across and was high up in his collection of militaria and truly stunning. & very rare M-1951 Fishtail parka Shell with U. ARMY silk woven tape, liner & real fur hood. Shape and look to have seen little if any use at all, this would truly look fantastic in anyone's military collection. All zips, press studs, buttons, cords and cuff elastic work perfectly. Shell is in a crisp and dark sheen and probably never seen much daylight. S excellent and looks in unissued condition.
With great ink stamps [please see photo 7 and you can see a yellow tailors button mark]. Ink or hand written 1-HQ209 inside the shell itself please see photo 12, [thumb area left of photo].
Hood is excellent and looks in unissued condition. Size Large but very oversized to fit over army field coat so extremely big and more like an XXL so please check sizes given [this is a very big parka].
