Post WW2 Korean War British Royal Signal Corps Named General's Visor Hat Cap
For sale here is a great looking Named Post WW2 British Signal Corps Field Grade Officer's Visor Hat. The hat is in excellent condition. The hat is complete with chin cord, signals buttons, signals insignia, crown, and bullion ringed bill. The cap features a dark blue wool body that is in great condition with no mothing and only minor wear. The exterior band is black and features and oak leaf and acorn motif and is in beautiful condition. The shiny black leather bill is in good condition with some light surface cracking and a wide toned gold bullion band. Inside, the sweat shield has turned orange as is often the case. The maker is illegible, but i can see that it was made in London. The leather sweat band is supple, but does have some separation at the back. The cap is named to Hartshorn. This is an amazing hat that will work for wear, but would be a centerpiece in many collections. This is a good one!
