Original WWII / Korean War Era Legion of Merit Medal. Awarded to Colonel Irvine H. Marshall - US Army Medical Corps.

A native on Pennsylvania, Marshall joined the Army in 1929. He would go on to serve in WWII & Korea in various Medical Commands including Chief of Preventive Medicine at Fort Meade and write on various medical topics such as "MALARIA IN KOREA".
