Original Late Ww2/korean War Us M1c Paratrooper Helmet Front Seam Airborne

ORIGINAL LATE WWII / KOREAN WAR US M1C PARATROOPER HELMET. This is an Original Late WWII/Korean War M1C Paratrooper Helmet. It is in the exact condition as it was found other than the helmet net which was added later. The steel Pot has a stainless steel rim with the seam to the front. The liner has both Westinghouse and CAPAC markings and has the eyelet on the front as well as the correct HBT webbing.

It was probably refinished at the end of WWII or during the Korean war. The liner is in fantastic condition! The steel pot has the correct paratrooper chinstraps that are machine sewn, I believe they were a field addition by the stitching.

The steel pot has general wear from field use. No stress cracks that I can see. A couple of small dings on the top. The cork texture has worn off, it has a nice dark green patina. It is getting quite difficult to find these Original Paratrooper Helmets.
