ORIGINAL H-4 Flight Helmet Gentex Large with Liner 1950s US Navy Korean War F9F

For sale is this excellent condition H-4 Flight Helmet and Liner set as worn by U. Naval aviators during the Korean War and 1950s. The helmet shell was made by Gentex and is a Size Large. The gold paint is in overall excellent condition with only minor scratching and green discoloration which is so common on these helmets.

Navy wings decal is very intact and you can make out the ghosted areas where the name STROMERSON was once lettered on the front of the helmet. All of the snaps are intact and the rubber edging is very nice and not cracked or damaged. The Gentex liner is original and in near mint condition as well. It is a Size Medium and fits in the helmet very well. It has one retaining snap strap but is missing the other one.
