Military Jeep Jerry Can Holder & 1952 Russakov, Korean War Era

This is a vintage Jeep or M88 Jerry Can and Jerry Can Holder. They are both in good used condition. The Jerry can was made by Russakov and is dated 5-20-52 on the bottom of the can. The can is also marked US on the front.

The can is missing the original rubber gasket, and there is some surface corrosion in parts of the can interior. The corrosion appears to be limited and surface only, it should clean up very easily. I did not see any signs of holes or leakage in the can.

The holder retains what appears to be the original strap. It was repainted at some point with a black paint and possibly some primer. These items came from a local veterans estate and are offered as found.
