Shell This parka shell looks to be un-issued and is in utterly mint condition The ink stamping is crystal clear and it is unmarked, they are super rare to find in this condition and frankly Ive never seen a better one ever. The photos do not honestly do it justice, it is that nice.
Made between 1943 and 1948, these parkas were worn during WW2 and then into early Korean War and were the precursors to the M1948 parkas. This particular Shell was made in 1948 as shown on the ink stamping. All the buttons are original and in place, the snap connectors look brand new and drawstrings again are original and mint.Everything about it is perfect, i honestly cannot fault it, it is definitely not issued. Ive certainly never seen a better example Liner This liner is an early WW2 experimental version, dated to 1943 they made these early liners with pile on just one side and trimmed them with Wolverine Fur as is it better at keeping out cold than any other fur, the later liners had double sided pile and wolf fur. This liner is a lovely match for the shell and again Ive yet to see a better example, the fur is lovely and supple and not shedding at all. Its a fantastic rare liner.
The wool pile is lovely and plush and is not worn or stained anywhere and the pictures speak 1000 words Its fantastic and super rare. I also encourage you to message me and ask about fit and size if you are unsure.
