Korean War US Army Uniform & Gear Set 3rd Infantry Division, Military Poice

Authentic Korean War era U. Army uniform and gear grouping, dated early 1950s. This set belonged to a member of the 3rd Infantry Division (blue & white diagonal patch) who served in the Military Police. A rare complete grouping that includes uniform, headgear, insignia, belt, accessories, and gear. Wool Ike jacket (38R) with 3rd Infantry Division patch and U.

Army service patch (Golden Eagle). Cotton khaki shirt (dated May 8, 1953).

Wool garrison cap, size 7, made by Miller Bros. Dated June 12, 1952 (M-1950 style). Leather MP belt with brass eagle buckle. Two MP armbands with "MP" lettering. Various braided cords / lanyards (blue and maroon). All items marked with soldier's service number N-3231. Condition: Used vintage condition with signs of age and wear appropriate to 1950s service gear. Leather belt shows wear and some discoloration. Uniform pieces in very good shape for their age.

Dated tags on garrison cap (1952) and khaki shirt (1953) place this set firmly in the Korean War period. MP armbands and accessories make this a particularly rare grouping.
