Korean War U. S. Combat Infantry Badge 2-war Cib E & H Simon Sterling Silver 3

This is a fine Korean War U. Army Combat Infantry Badge with star that is in excellent condition. It is constructed of sterling silver. The front exhibits excellent detail to the musket, wreath, and star, and with very lightly crazed blue enamel paint behind the musket. The reverse of the badge is marked, "E & H SIMON - STERLING" and "G-I".

The badge is with both posts. The brass clutches are missing. It is a full-size piece measuring 3 inches in length. To appreciate the significance of this badge, you would have had to have fought in two conflicts.
