What makes me believe this is Korean War period is the 2nd line of the inscription. This was given by the Katusa that served under Capt. Katusa stands for Korean Augmentation to the United States Army and is a branch of the Korean Army. The Katusa consisted of personnel who were attached to other units. This is the ONLY direct reference I've ever seen to the Katusa and the fact that the Katusa personnel got this for Capt. Calhoon makes this a VERY unique piece of history! Please also note that this is most likely the most intricate swagger stick I've ever seen.
That's a mother of pearl dragon inlaid on this swagger stick which makes it a fantastic display piece! As if that weren't enough, this also comes with the ORIGINAL BOX! I have never seen another swagger stick with its original box before! Y'all, this is one of those one of a kind pieces.
So unique, you'll be hard pressed to find another like it. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Militaria\Korea (1950-53)\Original Period Items". The seller is "trimat7" and is located in this country: US. This item can be shipped worldwide.
