This is a unique and rare hand painted flag from the Korean War era, specifically from South Korea. The flag depicts the national emblem of South Korea and was likely brought back as a war souvenir. The painting is in excellent condition and the colors are still vibrant. This flag is a great addition to any militaria collection or for anyone interested in Korean War history. I bought an army trunk at a local estate sale.
When I removed the newspapers from the bottom of the trunk, this flag was folded up underneath the paper. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the previous owner. Please see pictures for condition details.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
