Up for offer is an extremely rare Korean War Purple Heart posthumously awarded to Private Othello C. Knapper, Kanawha County, West Virginia. He was killed 9-22-1950 and served as a light infantryman in the 9th infantry regiment, 2nd Infantry Division and was killed in South Korea. This medal was rescued from going into the trash bin and thank God someone who will honor his sacrifice will own this piece and keep it safe.
