Korean War Issued Pilot's/Navigator's Wristwatch, Bulova, Model A-17A Working

This is an original working Korean War era Bulova 17 jewel, hacking, Model A17A wrist watch issued to U. Pilots and navigators with markings that show this one was issued during the early 1950s. It is running and the hacking feature works. It was made by Bulova under a contract with the U. Military to high standards with 17 jewels (rubies) under specifications number MIL-W-6433A. The Bulova model number is 10BNCH.

This one is an early one with the low serial number of 9532. It has luminous numbers for the 1-12 markings, and non-luminous white paint numbers for the 13-24 inner circle markings and hands. The back is fully marked and reads. Please see the photos to judge for yourself how nice this watch is.

This watch comes from a small collection that was assembled by a collector who collected from estate sales over a number of years and kept his things in'untouched' condition and without "improvements". This one is in running condition including the hacking function.
