






This grouping includes his regulation officer's dress uniform coat with bullion 2nd Lieutenant bars, 2nd Armored Division shoulder patch, ribbon bar, trousers, garrison cap, and tie. The original period-accurate wooden officer's hanger is included. A stack of his personal calling cards is also present, marked Grant Alan Mortensen - Lieutenant United States Army. Coat: US Army Officer's Regulation Uniform, with brass buttons, 2nd Lt bars, and 2nd Armored Division "Hell on Wheels" patch. Trousers: Officer's wool, dated 1950.
Garrison Cap: Matching fabric, very good condition. Tie: 1980s USGI khaki tie (not original to the uniform, added for display). Extras: Period officer's hanger, personal calling cards, AFE ticket stubs, inspection slips. Named: Grant Alan Mortensen (South Jordan, UT), 2nd Lt, US Army, 94th AAA Bn, 2nd Armored Division.
Historical Note: Mortensen died in service, November 1955, Mainz, Germany, age 23. Documentation included in listing photos. Overall very good vintage condition.
