Korean War era Belgium made SAFN-49 bayonet

The blade retains approximately 20% of its original gray parkerized finish. The double-sided blade has not been sharpened post-factory. The wooden scales show no signs of splitting cracking or rot. They are firmly attached by two screws. The walking hardware functions perfectly.

The Bayonet Scabbard retains approximately 70% of its original black finish. The fabric belt hanger stitching is tight with no fraying it is very dirty though.

The Scabbard holds the bayonet tightly in place. This is an army of Luxembourg bayonet. And yes both Scabbard and Bayonet are serial number matches.
