Korean War Era BAR Equipment Set M1945

Korean War Era BAR Equipment Set M1945. The set includes an unmarked M1945 top Combat field pack, a set of 1945 dated M1945 field pack suspenders, a M1945 Combat Cargo lower pack dated 1950s see the photo. And a M1936 BAR Belt dated 1951.

A nice set for reenacting Korea or even WW2. The top pack is in unissued condition- its unmarked but in very good condition. Its OD green and Has some discoloration corrosion and possibly rust on the metal parts from long term storage.

The liner is mint but may show slight discolorations from long term storage. The suspenders are in excellent condition as well and appear to be unissued.

They are unique in that they are OD green but one strap is factory stitched with khaki thread. The metal may have slight discoloration and slight corrosion from long term storage and there may be some spots of discoloration on the canvas from storage as well. As for size, adjusted all the way out they fit me and Im about 6 tall.

If your taller than that they may not fit. The lower combat pack is used, but the liner is supple and in good condition.

The inside of the pack is a little dirty from use/storage. There is a rust stain on the liner that shouldnt affect performance, the instruction sheet sewn in the liner is nice. The straps and buckles are all intact and although there is slight fraying in the stitching there are no visible rips and mostly just extra amounts of thread.

Its kind of musty and the metal parts have some corrosion, over all it is in good used condition. The BAR belt is used and missing a snap (male) lift the dot type. The eyelets are placed crooked but I have been able to attach gear to it.

It has some spotty discoloration inside the pouches where they fold over the belt portion. It is adjustable and fits my 38 waist as they are configured in the photo. Also this gear is old and has been stored for many years. Also it may have a military Surplus smell, faint scent of gun oil, boots, canvas dye, mothballs. There are stains and corrosion to the metal parts.
