Korean War Bronze Star Medal Group Good Conduct Silver engraved named WW2 Cross

This is a set of awards for Leon Eddy including a SS, bronze star and GCM, all named. All three medals are included. Awards are later government engraved and show minimal wear.

While the NARA is closed, there is a record available online of a Leon Eddy of the 1st Cav receiving a silver star for his service in Korea. This lines up with the obit and headstone of a Leon Reed Eddy who passed in 2014.

Medals come as shown with cases for the two stars but not the GCM. The red ribbon came with the set but I have no idea as to its original or why its included in the bronze star case.

While I cant say what the award is for, my guess is that its notable, as his BSM couldve gotten a cluster or a V added to it, but it didnt.
