In 1966 Jabara flew combat missions in Vietnam and commanded the 31st Tactical Fighter Wing. On November 19, 1966, Jabara while on leave was tragically killed in a car accident. The autograph is signed''James Jabara Major USAF'' in blue fountain pen above his typed name and rank.
