Identified WWII Fixed Bale M1 helmet Korean War 2nd Infantry Division 6th Army

Original WWII McCord fixed bale M1 helmet with Firestone liner, identified to a Korean War soldier who was in the 38th Inf Regt-2nd Inf Div, and evacuated 11/29/1950 according to a Korean War casualty list. The shell has an overpainted 2nd Infantry Division decal or painted insignia, which is very hard to see in photos but easier to see the outline in person. The liner has a 6th Army decal on the front, which the 2nd ID was under at Fort Lewis, Washington, post-WWII. Condition wise, this set is salty but solid.

There is minor denting and rust, and missing paint on the shell and liner. Be sure to check out my other military items!
