Outside of the KW period uniform items and personal effects, the true prize here is the ephemera. The amount of photos, newspaper clippings, and the sheer amount of documentation on one of the largest training exercises in "Operation Southern Pine" is unparalleled.

There are maps, internal use docs, propaganda leaflets, and much more. There are also two other training ops covered in this lot - one at Fort Drum, and the other in Kentucky. This group is worthy of display in the finest of Airborne collections and tells the tale of 11th AB operations and daily life in the early 1950's. There were a ton of photos and documents that wasn't able to photograph due to the limitations on photos.
