Genuine Vintage US Army Korean war Parka M1947 size Medium

An amazing piece of military history, this stunning US Army M1947 Korean War issue parka is made of double layer heavy cotton with removable shearling sheepskin pile liner, the liner sleeves are green wool and the liner has ribbed cuffs. The parka is in very good condition, no obvious holes although it is grubby in places and would benefit from dry cleaning. The belt sleeve is intact but the belt is long gone!

There is a white label inside right lower pocket but it is totally unreadable. A fabulous piece for Military collectors, enthusiasts and re-enactors but also a really great coat for cold winters!

Size label is M, measurements are. Armpit to armpit 26, allow a bit less due to thickness of sheepskin. Sleeve length from shoulder seam 26. Shoulder to shoulder across back 20.

Length from neck to hem 39. A fabulous piece for Military collectors but also an Iconic piece of on trend Winter gear, great for Snow boarders!
