Genuine Korean War Era Usmc Camo Helmet Cover For M-1 Helmet Reversible

This is a genuine and 100% original USMC camo helmet cover from the Korean War era. This cover was made to go on a M-1 Helmet. It has foliage slits to add leaves, branches etc for extra camouflage. It does have a EGA stamp on both the green and brown sides of this camo cover.

It was stamped twice showing that it was manufactured in 1953. This camo cover is in very good solid condition, and can be worn or displayed. There is no dry rot, odors, or smell of smoke on it. There are some tiny holes and some "Nips" in the cloth from use (not from insects or animals eating on it). There are some light stains and some residue from rust.

There is one hole on one side that is a "L" shape rip that is approximately 1 inch x 1 inch. All of the cloth is there, it just has never been repaired. I don't clean or modify my any of items in my collection, and this cover comes from my WWII collection of M-1 helmets.
