Chinese Winter Hat Korean War

Chinese Winter Hat Korean War. Superb example of the Chinese Army (PVA) winter hat. This is the type that features the ventilation holes on the sides. These openings could be kept open (or closed) via buttons above and below. The "fur" on this hat is completely intact and is still soft.

There is a black stain on the inside crown of the hat. It appears to be ink. The spot is clearly shown in the photo.

The ear flaps can be secured under the chin, or on top of the head via a button, instead of a string tie. Very rare to find this type of hat in such excellent condition.
