50s Vtg US Army M-1951 Hooded w Frieze Liner FISHTAIL PARKA M / L Shell Military

Original vintage 1950s Korean War US Army Arctic M-1951 Fish Tail Parka Shell with attached hood and frieze liner. Frieze liner marked size Medium. Metal Conmar zipper with pull. Snap button front with flap.

Two front slash flap snap button pockets. Adjustable cinch waist and bottom opening.

Hood with cinch adjustment and leather tabs. US Army tape applied to left chest and previously removed. Parka shows obvious soiling spots on exterior and interior of hood.. The two cuff buttons are chipped as well as the button to attach liner at top near hood..

Left frieze liner cuff missing one strap to attach into interior cuff.. Right cuff attaches properly with both cuff / buttons. Front zipper working along with snap buttons at pockets and front.. All drawstrings present in working order.. No obvious tears or holes in shell.

Sizes along with measurements with these Korean War era fishtail parkas vary greatly and don't seem to be standard so check below for sizing.. You could have one size Large with a 26 PTP and find another size Medium with the same measurement. Shown on men's vintage size large mannequin torso. 36 top neckline to bottom front. 41 top neckline to bottom back.
