From estate of American F-86 Sabre pilot named Thomas Maclean. Also included is a card from the Korean War Veterans Memorial, all belonging to the same person.

The F-86 Sabre survived many initial teething problems to become the premier USAF fighter of the Korean War. By the end of hostilities, Saber pilots claimed 792 MiGs shot down, with a loss of only 78 Sabres-a victory ratio of 10-to-1. Later models of the F-86 were more powerful and used both for air-to-air and ground support. Check out my other listings now for more Chinese antiques!
