1952 KOREA WAR VET 70 PHOTOS ALBUM & U. ARMY SERGEANT MAJOR INSIGNIA PATCHES. There are some earlier photos of WW2 WAACs/WAVES in the beginning of the album. This listing is for a Korea War vet photo album (simple blue plastic album with sectioned sleeves and assorted small size photos). Included are: 7 small photos with women in uniform (only one has writing "Swanage, England 1944, Bea & Gynne"). And there are 70 assorted small size black & white photos, 24 with some type of writing Includes: Camp Area; Headquarters; Korea 1952 Han River; Roadway; "home life;" Hospital taken from top of mountain Taejon; EVAC-Hospital main gate; The Honey bucket 1952 Korea; Temple Anyong Korea; chow time near Suwon Korea, etc. Army Sergeant Major rank insignia patches, three chevrons, three rockers, and center star embroidered with yellow gold thread on green cotton. AND 2 brass Corporal chevron collar pins.
AND a small fold-out booklet Insignia of the Army, Navy & Marine Corps. AND the last 4 pages of the album have 6 color newspaper images from Inquirer scrapbook of Planes: Douglas F3D Skyknight; Piasecki H21C Helicopter; Convair F-102 Interceptor; Boeing B-29 Superfortress; Lockheed C-69; and Bell X-5 Research Monoplane. Everything is in very good condition. Please take a look at the military Ike jacket that came from the same estate. Please pay close attention to photos for best description of condition, thank you.
