1950s Randall Model 1-8 Fighting knife, seven spacer, nickel silver double hilt. The high carbon steel blade is 8 long, has been used, but is sharp and full. The theater commando style handle which replaced the original is in excellent condition. It retains the original seven spacers and 3 spacers at the butt. The guard, handle and solder joint are sound and tight.
There is a duralumin butt cap with with a domed hex nut. Scratches on the butt cap show how the original handle material was removed and replaced. Brown button corn row Heiser sheath, missing the keeper strap, with used thin white stone in hone pocket. The sheath has been used and carried, all stitching is intact, and the United Carr snap is in working order. The Heiser logo is on the back, along with "1" over and "8" under the logo.
