You are purchasing a large group of photographs from the military career of Donald Edwin Batterson of Clarksville Tennessee who died on 18 May, 2017. This collection of 137 photographs of which most are military includes photographs of him and several of his friends to include PFC Leo Biross, I Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment who was killed in the first Battle of the Hook. Most of the photos are from Korea and have notes about them written on the borders but some include American scenes and his trip to Japan on his way to Korea. Also included with this lot is Donald's three dog tags, his marine emblem pin and even his T.
Honor flight of the greatest generation to visit the World War II memorial pin. This lot also includes a few civilians which I assume are his family as well as the original negatives for all of these military photographs. These photographs from the war were produced when he came home in 1954 and are only some of the collection that will make a great addition to your ephemera collection.
