WWII / KOREAN WAR - US M1 FRONT SEAM HELMET - SOLDERED CAPTAINS BARS - 104th INFANTRY DIVISION. M1 COMBAT HELMET - CAPTAIN. Army M1 Combat Helmet, WW2/Korean War era.

The helmet has Captain's insignia soldered to the front (close inspection you can see the solder, it is NOT glued). The Steel Pot has a stainless steel rim with the seam to the FRONT. It retains most of it's cork texture and original paint with some light rust patina. The OD chinstraps are machine sewn to the swivel bales. The liner is a WWII era with CAPAC markings with a 1951 date (re-webbed in 51). The webbing is in good condition and there are no cracks. It has a water-dipped decal of the 104th Infantry Division on the side with Captain's bars on the front. Please look at the detailed pictures and ask me questions!
