You are viewing a nice original Vintage M-1951 Army Field Shell Jacket. This was an Estate Sale find and comes as found. This jacket is in near mint condition. The outer left pocket has the U.

The coat also has the original silver zipper along with snap front. There are 2 upper and 2 lower snap pockets. Cuffs have 2 buttons ea.

Inside has buttons for extra lining (not included). There is also a draw string that cinches the waist. The inside of the jacket is stamped with the following: Jacket, Shell, Field, M-1951 Reading Clothing Mfg Co QM 25200, March 13, 1952 Spec. A The size of the jacket is not marked, but following are the measurements: Chest: 22" (armpit to armpit) Length: 33" (collar to hem) Arms: 25" (shoulder to cuff) Inner arm 20" (armpit to cuff).
