Vintage 51 KOREAN War US Air Force USAF OVERCOAT PARKA TYPE with PILE LINER Small

The pics outside are a bit overexposed and the green looks lighter than it is, but on photo # 5 the olive green color is shown with much better accuracy. This coat was designated by the US Air Force as Overcoat, Parka Type With Pile Liner. The parka was made in 1951 by Philmac Sportwear Inc.

The color we believe is OD, olive drab, previous to the Olive Green Army Shade 107 or OG 107 that came a few years later. The label is beautifully conserved, so please check photo # 8 and read the details. The size is small; actual measurements, taken while this garment is flat on a desk, are.
